RESULTS:
Scottish Conker Championship 2007

Organisers were stunned by the enthusiasim of the competitors
and crowd at the 1st Scottish Conker Championships.

Sponsored by Buccleuch John Sale, special championship trophies were made
by local wood worked by Bruce Frost of Woodworks in Peebles.
These giant wooden 'conkers' were a prize worth competing for!

Festival Partners Borders Forest Trust led the competitors through their paces
and after much cheering in the Autumn sunshine, the results were as follows:

The winner of the over 18yrs olds category: Fiona Griggs (who beat her husband in the first round) with Buccleuch John Sale Director Harry Lukas.
7 year old Mathew McDonald who won the 7-11yr old category with Debbie Mathews from sponsors John Sale.
Rory Gault-Gordon, winner of the 12-18yr old group.
Max Bone - the winner of the Rogue category.
